How to become a IHAA Judge
There are 4 levels of IHAA Judges (L1-L4) and regulations specify the seniority of judge required to coach different levels of competition (categorised 1* ie local, through to 4*, international elite). These are summarised in the table below.
To start your training, visit the IHAA online learning course catalogue and select Level 1 Judges course, then “Get this course”.

The equestrian archer who wants to become an International Judge with the World Federation of Equestrian Archery must first spend a clinic, training session in the Kassai-valley during which the full knowledge of the OKS in theory and practice is acquired, including all the rules and regulations for the competition.
After this, the candidate can build their track and must organize a trial competition with minimum 9 competitors where Mr. Kassai or his delegate must be present.
If the track and the competition meet all the standards the applicant will then receive the International Judge title with the license.
